8 minute video will have you endure a taxiway takeoff and landings at
KMBO as well as landings at KJAN HKS and M16. Video demonstrates on
the second part why we need to check NOTAMS even on local flight.

Video includes reactions from me and another pilot along for the ride
during our Captain Kangaroo taxiway events at KMBO.

Watching this video I can't help but wonder if your landing attitude
seem seems a bit flat, (it seems to me that the nose and mains are
touching almost at the same time and the touch down horizon picture
looks very similar to the taxi picture) perhaps you could try holding
it off just a bit longer? This would mean that you are at lower energy
at touchdown, also keep the nose wheel off the runway once the mains
are down by continuing to increase back pressure. If the nose wheel is
off but the mains are down a bump can't hop you up again so easily.
Good fast decision to throw in power and lift off rather than try to
rescue a landing you were not happy with. This may have occurred to
you, but you might like to check that your stall warning is not going
off too early by doing some stalling at altitude?

Hope this helps.
Cheers

I can tell you for sure, your analysis is way off for the first four
landings. This is clearly seen on the KHKS landing where if you watch
the point of the nose, the plane straightened out while I was on the
mains and about 1/2 second to a second later the nose settles on the
runway. I think what you are missing is the distinct sound of the
mains as they are not chirping since my landings were soft. In my
plane the stall horn will continue to sound for as long as that nose
is off the ground.

The last landing on the taxiway, you are correct, the landing was flat
and you can tell that by the quality of the landing.

Stall horn is still going off while my mains are on the ground and
nose wheel is still off the ground. Stall horn is going off exactly
when it's suppose to when I practice stalls and falls.

Allen, remember, you are talking to an armchair - only pilot. You might as
well be talking about concrete finishing.

Idiot, I didn't describe anything, SimKing. lol

Since you aren't, you blew it, SimKing.

Viewing a two-dimensional, computer generated depiction of flying is not
the same as participating in the event. Those still in contact with
reality do not need this explained, but it seems you do.

Perhaps you should have a look at the painting by Magritte subtitled
"Ceci n'est pas une pipe" LOL

Just a thought, you might have added a late final call: "***lima on
late final (for) taxiway ***" just in case some bozo did not realize
that the taxiway was now active for a landing and taxied onto your
"runway".

Unneeded call. I don't make a call like this for a runway.

While conceivable, If what you described happened, then that's what a
go around is for, no different then somebody taxied onto a runway
inadvertently.
