December 13, 2008. After a year of being grounded by all kinds of
problems, I finally got a chance to go up again. It was a windy day so
I got a few challenging landings done at ISP's RW 33R, 50' wide and
3000' long. Then we headed back home to Republic airport (FRG). Video
includes approach to right downwind for RW 32 and landing. Equipment =
Piper Warrior II PA28-161. We're in a very old rental so excuse the
scratched and dirty glass :(

Yes, right traffic is normal for either of the two runways at FRG.
Water is about 6 miles to both, North and South sides, being the north
and south shores of Long Island. You see more water than usual because
I was asked to extend my downwind a bit to allow for spacing with
other aircraft.
