Just stumbling around and happened on to this.

I'm a little old now, lousy eyes and diabetes So I don't fly, never learned to dis-like flying though.

I owned a Piper PA235 that I learned in and later a Cessna 337. That's a really nice instrument bird. Aviation instruments must be fabulous now. The best I had was an ILS indicator.

Have logged well over 2,000 hours, usually always flew under IFR. and was a CFI.

I sold my bird when gas got so high. (Gosh, Seems like 100 octane got to almost 2 bucks). An airline ticket cost considerably less than the trip fuel. Guess that would have been around '91 because I then bought a '91 Town Car. Still drive 'em. I've had 5 more since. I wouldn't fly commercial because with the BS now days, I probably would wind up in jail. [g]
