Thanks for the laugh Jim, that was good laugh. Hope it didn't do to much
damage to the plane.

Seems you can find anything on YouTube.

I read this via the AP. The AP reports the cow is doing fine. However,
even with the nationally published AP story its always possible its a
viral video that fooled everyone.

Well, I looked real hard at the point when the plane was to have hit
the cow and wasn't able to see any disruption to the plane's attitude
or path. I would have also expected the occupants to have felt the
jolt from the impact and reacted. They didn't seem to even notice.

I considered that too. If the actually hit the cow, it couldn't have been
very hard.

The cow may have even tried to run and stumbled trying to get out of the
way.

Glad to hear the cow is ok, because it sure struck my funny bone.

I think you need glasses. The jolt to the plane is large and shakes
both occupants and the pilot look around. I'm amazed the cow was not
killed -it doesn't get up in the vid...

Cheers

report was that the biplane lost power shortly after take off and the pilot
was landing in the field, notice it was only about 40 seconds from take off
to cow tipping. The pilot saw the cows, a large group on one side that he
was attempting to miss, and the lone cow on the other side decided to join
the others. You can see in the video where the landing is apparent and then
he swoops up and over a fence line and cow.
