After nearly 19 years and numerous starts/stops, I finally finished my
training and got my PPL this morning. Marriage, divorce, jobs, kids, etc all
played a role in the delays. I just want to encourage anyone that has had to
quit their training to not give up. If you persist, it will happen!

Congrats. Now get out there and fly! Even more...take someone flying.

BTW, as a word of advice...the first time you take someone flying, please do
it on a nice day, first thing in the morning or just before dusk or at least
4,500 AGL so it's smooth. You never want to turn anyone off on their first
flight.

No doubts there. I found a club to join some time ago. The rates will allow
me to fly a few times a month.

Congratulations! I got back into flying after nearly 18 years of waiting,
which in retrospect was too long. Things are sure different now than back
then, but what a blast it's been!

Have fun with your certificate - I'm sure enjoying mine!

Best Regards,
